Originating from the Tarrazú region, this Arabica coffee with the Red Catuai variety is grown at very high altitudes, between 1,500-1,800 meters, which contributes to the development of a balanced and complex profile. Traditional processing involves aerobic fermentation followed by washing and sun-drying of the beans.
Rated 84 SCA points, Costa Rica Tarazzu offers an elegant sensory experience, dominated by chocolate notes, with accents of light caramel, dark chocolate, but also citrus fruits such as orange and yellow plum.

How to brew the perfect coffee
How to brew your perfect coffee
Espresso - 18 g coffee → 36 g in cup, ~28 seconds. Maximizes caramel sweetness and round body.
Filter / V60 - 15 g coffee to 250 ml water, ~93°C. The best method to taste berries and subtle acidity.
French press - 30 g coffee to 500 ml water, 4 minutes infusion. Fuller texture, ideal in the morning.
Regardless of the method, grind the coffee just before brewing and use filtered water — they make the biggest difference in the cup.
How fresh is the coffee?
We roast in small batches and ship shortly after roasting, so you can enjoy each origin at its peak.
How long does it keep?
The best taste is within 4–6 weeks of roasting. Store it in a cool, dry place, in its original sealed packaging.
Beans or ground?
If you want it ground, tell us what method you're using it for (espresso, filter, French press) and we'll prepare it accordingly.
How is it different from other origins?
